Alba (Cuneo), Carabinieri fight predatory crimes. Arrests for aggravated theft

In a period unfortunately usually characterized by the commission of predatory crimes, also linked to the arrival of numerous tourists for the "International White Truffle Fair", the Carabinieri of the Alba Company have intensified patrol and foot patrol services to combat them.

The Radiomobile Quota of the aforementioned Company, on several occasions she intervened in the act of committing aggravated thefts, later managing to reconstruct that in all the episodes there was the same protagonist: a 31-year-old Moroccan citizen who acted in collaboration with other individuals.
On the evening of October 01st, the foreigner had robbed a well-known pastry shop in Alba, stealing five bottles of liquor and, after a brief escape, had been arrested by the Carabinieri of the aforementioned unit and, following the summary trial with the application of the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the Judicial Police, he committed further thefts, being arrested again on October 23rd, together with an Italian citizen, after they had forced the lock of a well-known pastry shop in the centre of Alba, stealing cash from the tills and a smartphone.

Further investigations have allowed us to trace the 31-year-old Moroccan for other criminal episodes as well: in the first he had stolen, from a car, a debit card subsequently used improperly for purchases, in the second, he was an accomplice in another theft which took place on 18 October for which a Gambian citizen was arrested., previously arrested by the Carabinieri of Bossolasco last September for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. On October 18, the Gambian was reported for receiving stolen goods (part of the stolen goods was also found in his possession) and arrested again for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, having been found in possession of 47 doses of crack; after the summary trial he was released with the precautionary measure of a ban on residing in Alba, the same precautionary measure applied to the Moroccan subject after his arrest on 23 October.
