Vicenza: The balance of the Police checks at the railway station, over 4.000 people identified in one month
The balance of the controls of the State Police at the railway station in Vicenza: in one month over 4.000 people identified 3 arrested and 9 investigated at large 4139 people identified of which 3 arrested and 9 reported at large by the Vicenza State PoliceThe result of the activity was achieved following the initiative activity, conducted by the Railway Police Section of Vicenza, intensifying checks inside the railway yard in the main station, in nearby stations in the province and on board the train. The crimes discovered range from resistance, contempt and refusal of general information to a Public Official, possession of false documents, violations of the rules regarding residence in the national territory and violations of personal prevention measures.
Particularly
- A 52 year old foreign man, of Chinese citizenship, was stopped from the Polfer agents at the station in Vicenza and arrested because he had a pending order of custody in prison issued by the Judicial Authority of Milano, having to serve 5 years in prison and a €1500 fine for robbery and kidnapping. The arrested man was taken to the prison in Vicenza available to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Milan Court.
- A 60 year old foreign woman, of Moldovan citizenship, during a police check he exhibited to the police officers of the Vicenza section, always at the station in Vicenza, a Romanian identity card, which later turned out to be false, for which she was arrested for possession of false documents valid for travel abroad. After the validation of the restrictive measure by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Vicenza, she was immediately released from prison as she had no criminal record, but was reported for being an illegal immigrant on the national territory with the consequent expulsion and warning, agreed by the interested party with the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters, to leave the territory within 30 days.
- A young foreigner of 30 years old, of Algerian citizenship residing in the province of Trento, resisted the police officers who had chased him and stopped him at the station in Vicenza, because he had refused to pay for the ticket on board the train and was trying to escape. After being arrested red-handed he was brought to trial the next day where the Judge of the Court of Vicenza, after having validated the restrictive measure, he was released with the obligation to sign in twice a week at the Carabinieri of Trento postponing the judgment.
