Vicenza: reported for use of a false document, material forgery committed by a private individual and receiving stolen goods.

The agents of the Police Station of Bassano del Grappa (VI) reported at liberty EMMM, a 25 year old Egyptian citizen, resident in Milano, for the crimes of using a false document, material forgery committed by a private individual and receiving stolen goods.

The man was intercepted in Romano d'Ezzelino, in Via Ghiaia, aboard an OPEL Zafira car in which he was travelling together with 5 other people.

During the document check, the driver showed an Egyptian driving licence, with an Italian translation issued by the Court of Milano, a document written in Arabic, which presented characteristics of suspicious authenticity from the first inspection.

Once accompanied to the police station, the document was found to be false, deduced from the lack of various security features and errors in the transcription of the subject's personal details.

The officers then seized the license and reported the owner at liberty for the crimes of using a false document, material forgery committed by a private individual and receiving stolen goods.
