Vicenza: Pusher attacks Police Officers, arrested by State Police.

The Agents of the “Flying Squad” arrested IK., a 37-year-old Nigerian citizen illegally present in the national territory, without a fixed abode, with several criminal records and already convicted in 2017 and 2022 for drug dealing.

As part of their daily territorial control activity, while passing through Via Meschinelli, the Flying Squad officers noticed a person on a bicycle who, at their request to stop, attempted to escape.

During this attempt the subject threw away a package which was promptly recovered by one of the two agents.
The escape attempt of the subject, later identified as IK, already known to the judicial chronicles, failed.
During the control activities IK reacted violently by throwing the bicycle he was using at one of the Police Officers, attempting with a quick sprint to escape on foot. Chased and stopped, he continued to put up strong resistance so much so that one of the Officers fell to the ground, forcing them to resort to using the pepper spray provided in order to render him harmless.

IK, once taken to the police station, was found in possession of 605,00 euros in banknotes of various denominations and two Samsung and Nokia smartphones, while the package that was recovered contained thirty-five packages of which twenty contained a narcotic substance resulting in heroin equal to 3,03 grams, while fifteen contained a white powder with a total weight of 2,28 grams resulting in cocaine.

The subject, after being photographed, at the end of the judicial police actions, was arrested for the crime of drug dealing and resisting a public official, immediately notifying the Public Prosecutor on duty who ordered his precautionary custody in the security cells.
