Vicenza: Motorcyclist sees officers and runs away, 20-year-old reported

The agents of the State Police on duty as a "Flying Squad" of the Police Headquarters they noticed a motorcycle without front lights traveling along Corso Santi Felice e Fortunato, towards Viale Verona.

At the sight of the Agents, the motorcycle, a red HONDA CR track bike, without a license plate or headlights, it accelerated, fleeing in a hasty escape.

The officers started chasing the vehicle which was travelling at high speed along Viale Mazzini, Via Battaglione Framarin, Via Legione Antonini, Via Pecori Girardi, Viale Trento, Via Diaz, Strada Pasubio, and Via Diaz again (in the opposite direction), also putting at risk motorists coming in the opposite direction, many of whom were forced to pull over and move out of the way to avoid the impact. Once back on Via Pecori Girardi, he turned onto Via Battaglione Sette Comuni, where he entered a garden belonging to a house, in an attempt to continue his escape on foot, but was caught and stopped by the officers.

At the sight of the Agents he showed a particularly aggressive attitude, so much so that they were forced to take out the TASER in their equipment, inviting him to calm down and collaborate. Only then did the man stop, was secured and accompanied to the Police Headquarters.

Identified for a citizen Italian of the 2004, resident in Vicenza, was reported to the Judicial Authority for resisting a public official.

The motorbike was seized and the driver fined for numerous violations of the Highway Code.
