In the last few days, tests have been carried out new inter-force services in Vicenza to counteract the widespread crime, the drug dealing andirregular immigration.
The checks were interesting Campo Marzo, Piazzale Bologna, the squares of the historic center, Corso SS Felice e Fortunato, Viale San Lazzaro and several peripheral areas. In addition, some were monitored bars reported by residents in Via Parini, Viale San Lazzaro and Via Lanza.
The operations were coordinated by the Vicenza Police Headquarters, with the support of Flying Squad, UPGSP, Immigration, Scientific Police, Crime Prevention Unit, Guardia di Finanza Canine Unit and Local Police. Overall, they were employed around 30 operators per day.
The results of the operation

Drug dealer arrested
The operations led to the arrest of ZR, 26 year old Tunisian, found in possession of 40 grams of cocaine, part of which is already divided into doses, in addition to small denomination cash and a precision scale.
During the search, ZR attempted to run away to evade control, which is why he was also reported for resistance to a public official. The man was held in the police station's holding cells, waiting for thedirect hearing scheduled for today.
Three people investigated
- HAE, 30 year old Tunisian, found in possession of a small amount of cocaine, Was reported on the loose for possession of narcotics.
- DFMF, 52 year old Brazilian, already subjected to theOral Notice from the Police Commissioner, was investigated for violation of the Mandatory Street Sign.
- NMM, Senegalese born in 1985, was reported for failure to comply with the order of the Police Commissioner to leave the national territory.
Expulsion carried out
Finally, it was performed the expulsion of a Moldovan citizen from 1957, irregular in Italy and hit by a expulsion order of the Prefect of Vicenza, with direct accompaniment to the border.
The checks will continue in the next few days with new targeted operations to ensure greater safety for citizens.
