Vicenza: attempted robbery by breaking the window of a car. The criminal was identified and reported.

The patrol cars of the Vicenza Police Headquarters recognized him yesterday morning, around 9.00 am, while he was passing through the Campo Marzo area of ​​Vicenza, on board a scooter and they immediately stopped him.

The man, a citizen of Moroccan origin born in 1996, following a specific investigation carried out in recent days by the Agents of the General Prevention and Public Aid Office of the Police Headquarters, he had been recognized and identified without a shadow of a doubt as the person responsible for an attempted robbery committed in Vicenza, in Via Maurizio, on July 25th.

At that juncture, the criminal had broken the window of a parked car and entered it, rummaging around inside. However, the owner of the car arrived and, in an attempt to push the intruder away, was pushed by him, although, fortunately, without serious consequences.

The thief then fled without managing to take anything.

The complaint was formalized, the perpetrator of the crime had been identified through photographic recognition.
Yesterday, the Flying Squad officers saw him by chance in Campo Marzo, on a scooter. They stopped him and took him to the police station, where he was for the attempted robbery, the assault on the owner of the car and the damage to the same.

Furthermore, the Immigration Office Agents, having noted his irregularity on the national territory, have started the procedures for his expulsion from the territory, forcibly accompanying him to the Repatriation Center of Potenza from where he will be returned to his country of origin as soon as possible.
