Vicenza: enters a construction site to shelter from the cold, threatens the owner and neighbors.

The Police Flying Squad intervened in Vicenza, in Via Noventa Vicentina, inside a construction site, where the presence of an unauthorized person had been reported, who, despite being ordered by the neighbors to move away, had threatened those present brandishing a knife.

The State Police Agents who intervened on the scene actually found inside the construction site, which was duly closed and fenced, a man of Nigerian origin who, at the sight of the patrol car, tried to flee.

The foreigner was stopped, searched on the spot and found in possession of a kitchen knife and a hacksaw, which were seized.

The man had managed to light a makeshift fire inside the construction site to try to shelter from the cold.

The Director of Works, who arrived on site, confirmed that the intruder was not authorized to be in the area, reporting that he himself had been threatened after having ordered him to leave.

The person responsible was then taken to the police station and reported for invasion of buildings, aggravated threats and carrying objects capable of causing offence.
