Vicenza: Failed driving school exam, attacks instructor, reported
The agents of the State Police on duty as a Police Flying Squad they intervened in Vicenza, in Via Zamenhof, where the particularly aggressive conduct of a young man who had failed the practical driving test and had attacked the instructor had been reported.
On site, the Agents took statements from those present, re-establishing a situation of order and calm.
From the information gathered, it turned out that a young man of Malian origin Part 1999, before taking the practical driving test, he had taken off his shoes, taking several minutes to pray, kneeling several times in front of the car. After getting into the car with the instructor and the examiner, he started driving despite having been repeatedly asked to check all the driving preparation procedures and in particular that the passengers' seat belts were properly fastened, given that the electronic display of the car reported the failure to do so by some passengers.
Despite the warnings he received, the boy started driving anyway but after a few meters he was stopped by the examiner because he was deemed unfit to pass the test, given that he had not yet understood the basic rules on road safety.
At that point, the young man started yelling at his instructor, accusing him of not having informed him about the various processes involved in the exam, demanding the return of the money paid for the course, specifying that for him it was absolutely essential to obtain the driving license, also to be able to carry out a regular work activity.
The young man continued to scream, uttering incomprehensible sentences in his native language, kicking the car, taking off his shirt and remaining bare-chested. Suddenly he opened the back door of the car and grabbed the instructor by the arm who tried to free himself but was still hit in the face with a slap that caused a cut of a few millimeters to his lip.
At that point those present called the police, asking for help.
When the Police Arrive the young man had already got dressed and denied the version of events told by the others present, but confirmed that he had failed and that it was essential for him to get his driving licence.
He was then accompanied to the Police Headquarters for the routine checks, photographed and reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes of interruption of public service and personal injury.
