Vicenza: argument over a parking space degenerates into a fight with pushes and slaps, the State Police intervenes.
The Police Flying Squad intervened in Piazza XX Settembre in Vicenza, where a fight had been reported in the street between two people who were attacking each other with violent pushes and slaps in the face.
The Agents, having arrived on the scene, separated the parties and acquired the testimonies of those present to reconstruct what had happened.
It was therefore ascertained that one of the two, having to park in Piazza XX Settembre to run errands and unable to find a space to park, moved a bicycle that was leaning on the adjacent pavement, positioning it against a wall, in order to free up space for parking his car.
The owner of the bicycle, having noticed the gesture, came out of a nearby shop, where he was doing some shopping, and asked the driver for an explanation.
An argument ensued which quickly degenerated into a fight with mutual pushing and slapping.
The officers who intervened separated the two contenders, confirming that fortunately neither complained of injuries or needed medical attention.
The two litigants were therefore informed of their legal rights, reserving the right to file a complaint for the incident.
