Vicenza: he approaches his ex in violation of the ban, Italian citizen arrested.

This is what happened in the San Bortolo area, when a State Police patrol car intervened following a report from a woman who said she was being followed by her ex.
Within a few minutes, the officers intercepted the man right near the woman's home and proceeded to identify him.

The man, CR, a 56-year-old from Vicenza, justified himself by saying he was heading to a bar in the neighborhood but the woman, later questioned by the agents, gave a different version.
After having collected the statements of the parties, the Flying Squad, with the support of the UPGSP investigators, carried out further investigations from which it emerged that, last July, the Civil Court of Vicenza had issued a prohibition against the man from approaching the woman.

The measure, adopted in the context of a civil proceeding aimed at the custody of the minor daughter, had taken into account the conduct of the man who, since the separation, had not accepted his partner's decision, adopting violent behavior in some cases.

At the end of the checks, a further criminal complaint emerged against the man for stalking and, therefore, the person responsible was arrested.
Having informed the Judicial Authority, it ordered the precautionary measure of house arrest pending further evaluation by that Office.
