Vicenza: preventive checks for the Gold Fair, the Police Commissioner issues 2 eviction orders from the Municipality.

In consideration of the preparation of the Vicenza exhibition complex for the Gold Fair, detailed preventive public order and security services were implemented, with the participation of crews from the Police Headquarters (Flying Squad and Flying Squad), the Crime Prevention Unit of Padua, PolStada and PolFer, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza and Local Police of Vicenza.

It was during the checks in question that two people were noticed wandering around suspiciously in one of the external car parks near the Fair, approaching several parked cars and trying to open them.

The Flying Squad officers intervened, stopped them and checked them thoroughly, verifying that they were people resident in another province (in the Padua area), with several criminal and/or police records for crimes against property and the person.

For this reason the two were accompanied to the police station and photographed.

At the end of the investigation carried out by the personnel of the Anti-Crime Division, the Police Chief of Vicenza, Dario Sallustio, issued them with two Mandatory Expulsion Orders from the Municipality of Vicenza for 4 years.
