Udine: Pakistani drug dealer arrested in Largo Goldoni and almost 42.000 euros seized, probable proceeds of illegal activity.
State Police personnel from the Flying Squad of the Udine Police Headquarters arrested a 24-year-old Pakistani citizen, resident in the city, for the illegal sale and possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
During a targeted territorial control operation in the areas and streets surrounding the Parco Martiri delle Foibe, aimed at preventing and repressing drug dealing and consumption, in Largo Goldoni, the officers noticed a foreign citizen of Pakistani nationality, already known for specific crimes, first hiding something in a flowerbed and then handing over a package to a young man who had approached him, who in turn handed him some money.
The police managed to stop both the buyer, an Italian boy living outside the region, who handed over to them what he had recently purchased, 0,4 g of cocaine and 0,1 g of hashish, and the transferor, found in possession of 590 euros in banknotes of different denominations.
Subsequently, the operators recovered what the stranger had initially hidden, a bunch of keys, one of which allowed them to enter the room of a nearby building, rented by the man.
Inside the room, in addition to his clothes and documents, the officers found a further 42 grams of hashish, divided into several pieces, and 41.190 euros in banknotes, probable proceeds of drug dealing, given that the man lacks any legitimate source of income or support.
The drugs and money were seized and the man arrested and booked into the local prison.
