San Giovanni al Natisone, leaves the supermarket without paying: a 33-year-old and his 40-year-old accomplice arrested.
On the evening of April 9th, in a supermarket in San Giovanni a Natisone (UD) a Brigadier of the Carabinieri, off duty, intervened at the cash registers of the business where an individual, after being caught hiding various types of goods in a backpack, attempted to leave without paying. Having reached the exit, where an accomplice was waiting for him in a car, the man was chased by the policeman who however, in an attempt to block the two individuals, was hit by the vehicle driven by his accomplice, although he managed to recover the backpack containing the stolen goods, worth approximately 150 euros, and to detect the license plate of the vehicle.
Immediate research activities, which saw the use of the operational structures of the Provincial Commands of the Carabinieri of Udine and Gorizia, they made it possible, in short, to identify and stop, in Gorizia, the two men believed responsible for the robbery, a 33-year-old Moroccan citizen and a 40-year-old Tunisian citizen, subjected to arrest of a crime suspect.
The aforementioned are currently associated with the prison of Gorizia awaiting the provisions of the Judicial Authority.
The Brigadier, who with an exemplary sense of duty intervened in contempt of his own safety, free from duty, suffered injuries that healed in 30 days.
