Operation "High Impact": State Police intensified checks in Udine, Cividale, and Tolmezzo.

The State Police of Udine has strengthened its prevention activities in recent weeks through the operation "High Impact", a coordinated plan for monitoring the territory which involved Udine, Cividale del Friuli and TolmezzoThe goal is to increase citizens' perception of safety and combat illegal activities in the most sensitive urban areas.

In detail, the checks were carried out December 2nd and 6th in the center of Udine, December 3rd in Cividale del Friuli e December 4th in Tolmezzo, all in the afternoon time slot.

The operation saw the joint use of the Udine Police Headquarters, Police Stations of Cividale and Tolmezzoand Railway Police,Arms of the Carabinieri, canine units of the Guardia di Finanza and Local Police of the territories involved.

The results of the checks: seizures, sanctions and targeted checks

The joint effort has achieved significant results in preventing and combating crime. The following were checked: about 430 people, 162 vehicles e 18 public businesses, Besides parks and meeting areas often the scene of drug dealing or bivouac episodes.
