Today, in Rome, in front of the Europa space in via IV Novembre, Valerio Staffelli delivered a Giant golden tapir – accompanied by a banner with the writing: «No to Giannini's gag “law”» – to the editor of the newspaper The print Massimo Giannini.
On the occasion of the World Day Against Racism, Giannini was among the winners - together with the top model Naomi Campbell – during the tenth edition of “Fashion Dresses Peace Award” for his "social sensitivity".
"Social sensitivity but insensitivity to freedom of speech: more than three months after the publication in La Stampa of an article with many inaccuracies, Giannini, despite all our polite reminders and an appeal addressed to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, he persists in denying us the right to reply and not giving us an explanation as to why he decided to censor our clarification", Striscia writes in a note.
