To Verissimo Gerry Scotti: “I will watch Sanremo from my home, but I won't be at the Festival”.
Gerry Scottic, guest today on Verissimo, in telling a Silvia Toffanin the many projects he has in the pipeline in this period, he took the opportunity to clarify the rumors relating to his hypothetical participation in the next Festival of Sanremo, born from a photo posted on social media that showed him with Amadeus and the writing "They caught us":
“This photo was born as a typical tabloid newspaper paparazzi shot. In fact, my comment under the Instagram post was like 'Oh God and now who's going to tell Giovanna that you and I are having breakfast together?'”.
"From there - goes on - a series of hypotheses were born, the most popular was 'Gerry Scotti in Sanremo'. Imagine, Amedeo and I talked about everything in that situation: about children, about blood pressure, about cholesterol, about Milan and Inter, but I swear to you that the word Sanremo wasn't even uttered."
Gerry, what he was being ironic on the issue, always publishing on social media a video in which he asked if anyone knew of a hotel in Sanremo, he declared: "I want to tell you that I will watch Sanremo from my home, but I won't be at the Festival. Then, I would be disingenuous if I didn't say that the thousands of positive comments I received, like Fiorello's, filled my heart. I thank you all".
Instead, the host from this evening broadcast on Channel 5 with the specials "Free fall – the Best", speaking of his next television commitments, he announces the arrival of "I sing generation”, talent in which children aged 10 to 15 will show their singing skills, and reveals the names of the six team leaders and two of the four jurors: “The team leaders are a bit of the history of Italian music: we will have two senators, Iva Zanicchi and Fausto Leali, then Cristina Scuccia, Mietta, Anna Tatangelo. And Benedetta Caretta acts as the common thread between what happened 10 years ago and this year's edition”.
As for the jury, Gerry announces"I will have a wonderful swear. Among these four judges, two are women: Orietta Berti and Michelle Hunziker".
