From Wednesday 11 October, in the early evening on Canale 5, Anima Gemella starts, the new series, in four prime time slots (100' long), created by Endemol Shine Italy in co-production with RTI. Protagonists Daniele Liotti and Chiara Mastalli, directed by Francesco Miccichè.
In the cast, present, among others: Alice Torriani, Alice Mangione, Matteo Sintucci, Davide Iacopini, Valentina Corti, Stefano Santospago, Stefano Fregni, Lucia Ceracchi, Roberto Accornero, Anita Kravos, with the participation of Urbano Barberini, Stefania Rocca and Barbara Bouchet.

The protagonist of the series, set in Turin, is Carlo (Daniele Liotti), a charming and very talented doctor who has not yet gotten over the death of his wife Adele (Valentina Corti). As a doctor, Carlo was tormented for a long time by not being able to save her, but, thanks to the closeness of Margherita (Alice Torriani), his colleague at the hospital and Adele's best friend, he managed to overcome his mourning and decided to move on, asking Margherita to marry him. But as soon as she makes this decision, the arrival of a new woman shakes all her certainties: it's Nina (Chiara Mastalli), a messy and generous scammer who passes herself off as a medium thanks to her great talent in imitating the voices.

The two meet at the home of Margherita's grandmother and Tommy (Davide Iacopini), Carlo's great friend, Countess Ortensia (Barbara Bouchet), who wants to evoke her husband's spirit through Nina. During the fake séance organized to deceive the countess, however, something strange happens: Nina goes into a trance and utters a phrase that only Adele could have said to Carlo. Is it really Adele's spirit that she wants to contact her husband? And to tell him what? Or is it just a plan concocted by Nina, together with her friend Annabella (Alice Mangione), an expert hacker, to scam him too?
This is how Carlo begins a real investigation that will also involve Nina, posing completely new questions for him: is there really an afterlife? And, above all, is there a mystery surrounding Adele's death?
The investigation will affect all the people close to Carlo and his late wife and will bring to light many secrets from the past. For Carlo and Nina, however, it will also be an opportunity to look inside themselves, to free themselves from the past and make room for a new present.

Episode after episode, we are getting closer to the truth on what really happened to Adele, while Carlo and Nina deal with unexpected and intense sensations: Carlo will be won over by Nina's genuineness; Nina will end up captivated by the depth of feelings that Carlo is able to feel for her.
Among other characters of the series there are: Madame Margot (Stefania Rocca), who will help Carlo and Nina to orient themselves in the occult world of spiritualism, Ruben (Matteo Sintucci), an aspiring singer-songwriter who shares the apartment with Nina and Annabella, and Doctor Melodia (Roberto Accornero), colleague of Carlo and Margherita.
Soul Mate is a universal story, a love tale that tells of bonds so strong that they overcome every boundary, which continue to guide our hearts even when, apparently, they have been severed. But the series is also a path of rebirth for Carlo and Nina. Because you can find (or rediscover) your soul mate when you least expect it…
