Turin, over 30 kilos of cocaine hidden in garage and apartment: two people arrested
During one of the investigations conducted against drug trafficking, the Police arrested two men on charges of drug possession and found more than 30 kilos of cocaine. Furthermore, 76 thousand euros in cash were also found hidden in a piece of furniture in the house.

During the investigative activities conducted by the State Police, times to combat drug trafficking, were arrested in the last few hours, Milano, two men, one of Albanian nationality and one Swiss, seriously suspected of the crime possession of approximately 33 kilograms of cocaine-type narcotic substance.
The investigators of the Anti-Drug Section of the Flying Squad of the Turin Police Headquarters, supported by colleagues from the narcotics section of the Mobile Police Headquarters Milano, they proceeded initially under the control of a 30 year old Albanian citizen, while, on board an SUV, he accessed an underground garage in a town in the Milanese hinterland, where there are several garages.
Inside a box to which the man had the keys, i policemen found and seized 21 blocks weighing 1 kg approximately each containing cocaine, as well as useful material for packaging the narcotic. Il thirty-year-old was also found in possession of the sum of €5000 in cash.
With other keys found in his possession, the investigators also identified an apartment used by a 64-year-old Swiss citizen, where, hidden inside a piece of furniture with the doors blocked, the police found others 11 loaves weighing approximately 1 kg each, completely identical to those previously found in the garage; Furthermore, the sum of €76000 was also hidden inside the cabinet, divided into small denomination banknotes, a money counting machine and various material useful for packaging the narcotic.
The value of the seized substance, retail, according to current market costs, would have earned the pair of accomplices around 2,5 million euros.
The GIP of Milano validated the arrests.
The criminal proceedings are at the preliminary investigation stage and therefore applies the presumption of not guilt in favor of the suspects, until the final sentence.
