The State Police arrested a twenty-nine-year-old man of Romanian origins who was the recipient of a European arrest warrant.

It is evening when a UPGeSP patrol car is sent to Via Invorio near a minimarket following a report of a fight in the street to the Operations Centre.

Once the police arrived on site they identified an Italian citizen who claimed to have collapsed on the ground after having been injured hit violently in the jaw by a man of Romanian origins. The aggressor, after the scuffle, had walked away without trace.

The patrol car tracked down the alleged attacker at the intersection of Via Carrera and Via Invorio; at the time of the check, the twenty-nine year old of Romanian origins was clearly drunk. Subsequent checks revealed that he was the recipient of a European arrest warrant issued by Romania for the crime of aggravated robbery.

The twenty-nine year old was arrested and taken to prison.
