Orbassano: Major drug seizure. State Police found over 110 kg of marijuana and hashish

Il 18 March, State Police ha arrested in flagrante delicto an Italian citizen for possession of a large quantity of narcotic substance.

In particular, from information-investigative activities, the operators of the Flying Squad they learned that a person was in possession of drugs inside a garage located in a complex of Orbassano and, during a stakeout, they noticed a car approaching and heading towards one of the garages of the building owned by a company that was later found to be unconnected to the facts.

The investigators then approached the garage which, at that time, had the garage door open, surprising the subject intent on arranging numerous packages containing plant material.

During the search, the following were found: 64 kg gross of hashish e 45 kg of marijuana, the latter enclosed in 58 transparent envelopes. In the man's car were found over 13.000 euros in cash and 3 sets of keys for as many vehicles.

At home they were nearly 1.000 euros seized in cash and about eighty grams of narcotic substance. In one of the three vehicles in the possession of the suspect, over 2,2 kg of hashish, 2,5 kg of marijuana, 17 electronic cigarettes with derivatives of the inside cannabis and material useful for packaging the doses.

At the time of validation of the arrest, the GIP of the Court of Turin found that there were serious indications of guilt against him, validating this measure and ordering the pre-trial detention in prison.
