Nichelino (Turin), over 21 kilos of drugs seized. 2 arrests by the State Police

Two people, aged twenty-eight and eighteen, were arrested by the State Police for possession and dealing of narcotics.

The agents of the Mirafiori State Police Station have uncovered, in the municipality of Nichelino, a flourishing drug dealing ring, identifying two men who had attracted their attention. One of them was noticed entering a building with a trolley, and then later exiting the building in the company of another person, the eighteen-year-old, who was leaving in a taxi with the suitcase in tow.

A patrol followed the taxi to its destination in Moncalieri. Here the police officers checked the young man and found him in possession of six kilos of hashish and 1 kilo of cocaine. The man was arrested. During the house search, the officers found five other packages containing hashish, weighing almost half a kilo, hidden in the meter compartment on the balcony.

Meanwhile, other police station personnel went to the home of the first man identified, the twenty-eight-year-old who entered the building with the trolley. During the search, the agents found two kilos and four hundred grams of hashish and about twenty grams of marijuana in the man's house. But it was in the cellar that the police made the most significant discovery: in the appurtenance were stored eleven and a half kilos of the same narcotic substance.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Turin has requested and obtained the validation of arrests.
