Ivrea: Turkish citizen in prison for attempted murder.

La State Police has performed, in the last few hours, Ivrea (TO), an ordinance of pre-trial detention in prison, arranged by the GIP at the request of Public Prosecutor's Office of Ivrea, towards a 34 year old Turkish citizen, seriously suspected of attempted murder of a Romanian citizen.

The investment and the escape

The facts date back to the last summer, when the staff of the Police Station “Ivrea and Banchette” had intervened following theinvestment of a Romanian citizen by a person known to him.

The attacker, a Turkish citizen, would have deliberately hit the victim with the car due to previous disagreements, and then flee without providing assistance.

The injured person, initially hospitalised at theIvrea hospital, is located today in good state of health.

The investigation and arrest

Le investigations, coordinated by Public Prosecutor's Office of Ivrea, they allowed to collect significant circumstantial evidence against the arrested person, who would also be responsible for previous episodes of violence towards the victim.

- collected elements led to the issuance of the precautionary detention order in prison.

It should be noted that the provision was issued during the preliminary investigations and, therefore, the presumption of not guilty until the final sentence.
