Caselle Torinese (Turin), police officers help a man struck by an illness
Two State Police officers, on duty at the Turin Caselle Airport, rescued a man leaving for his vacation during the Christmas holidays.
A passenger informs the police that a person is ill at gate 10. On the benches the officers find the man in a semi-conscious state and breathing heavily. They lay the man on the ground and contact the medical room to send help. A woman nearby, shocked and frightened, warns the officers that her husband suffers from epilepsy.
Having learned this, The police put the man's body in the safety position in order to avoid swallowing his tongue and suffocation. After this maneuver the man begins to breathe properly and regains color. The officers talk to him to keep him alert and conscious while waiting for the medics to arrive.
The man was then taken to the hospital for treatment and was discharged in the evening after checks.
The family then wanted to thank the State Police for the professionalism of the police officers.
