Turin. San Paolo area extraordinary checks by the State Police, 2 premises sanctioned.

On the afternoon of 4 April, the policemen of the San Paolo area police station, with the help of patrols from the Crime Prevention Department and Municipal Police personnel, carried out an extraordinary control service of the territory in the area of ​​competence. Together with the ASL-SIAN Inspectors they also proceeded with the verification of compliance with the regulations relating to the hygienic conditions present within some commercial premises.

The activity was concentrated in particular on 3 commercial establishments, included in the pedestrian area of ​​via Di Nanni, via Pollenzo, Corso Racconigi, including 2 bars and a kebab pizzeria.

Some were found in the latter location health and hygiene deficiencies, with a fine amounting to €1000, and the lack of traceability of some foods, for which the official blockade and destruction was ordered.

In a bar in via Pollenzo, ASL staff found serious health and hygiene deficiencies, such as not to guarantee a sufficient level of food safety, in particular dirt in the entire area of ​​the platform and around the work equipment, as well as presence of live cockroaches under a refrigerator. Inside one of the freezers there were foods full of ice, i toilets were in very poor condition. Following the situation encountered, SIAN decreed theimmediate closure of the business, until the expected hygienic conditions are restored, with a fine of €1000.

Among the patrons checked inside the venue, a 42-year-old Italian subjected to house arrest for extortion and exploitation of prostitution; the man was reported for escape.

During the activity, which also affected the green air of via Osasco/Spalato, the Vittime di Beslan gardens in Corso Peschiera, the Ruffini park and the gardens of the former Venchi Unica company, the police identified 79 people and checked 15 vehicles .
