It was chosen from nineteen proposals received from all over Italy the work that will decorate with bright colors a wall of the new multidisciplinary indoor training center in Trento.
It is “Finish Lines” by artist Nadia Groff, which explains how dynamism is the basis of the project: «The geometric lines, an identifiable element in the facade, are intertwined with sport. They are lines of fields, contours, tracks, poles, ribbons and obstacles that represent a goal to be achieved. To be overcome. "The mural deliberately represents the human figure in a disproportionate way as a message of inclusiveness. "Human beings - explains Groff - have in common the desire to do sports that goes beyond any gender, origin or flair».
The work, which will be completed in the next few months, is due to provincial law number 2 of 1983. The law in fact requires public bodies that build or renovate buildings with provincial contributions to allocate a portion of the overall expenditure for the embellishment of the buildings. with the creation or purchase of a work of art.
As foreseen in the tender, the Commission initially evaluated the preparatory drawings and the descriptive technical reports, and then moved on to to the analysis of the sketch and to the artist's previous professional and educational experience.
