Trento: a call for 42 thousand euros has been promoted to support innovative actions and projects in support of Volunteering.

The Trento Committee European Capital of Volunteering 2024 promotes a gang to "support innovative actions and projects to support volunteering" to support the start-up phase of experimental actions and projects for the development of local volunteering. The deadline to submit applications it's next October 21st at 12pm.

With this notice we want to reward an innovative volunteering idea, in line with the new needs of society, which brings human contact back to the centre of relationships, rethinking the role of collective physical and relational spaces.

The contribution concerns voluntary actions which – even in an unorganised form and in a logic of subsidiarity – integrate the services (social, educational, cultural) present on the territory and are intended to meet the needs of individuals.

Three different areas of intervention. The first concerns the sharing spaces and skills to consolidate networks and relationships and promote forms of urban and local regeneration through shared uses; the second promotes experimental and innovative projects for which participatory forms of co-financing (crowdfunding) are activated; the third concerns network projects for the promotion of youth volunteering.

The recipients of the call are: private entities such as associations, foundations, cooperatives and non-profit committees, schools of all levels.

The resources allocated are 42 thousand euros. For each of the three areas of intervention, it is expected that two contributions will be granted, with a maximum value of 7 thousand euros each. Each lead organization will be able to submit only one application. The projects must be sent in PDF format to: comitato.trentovolo@pec.it.
