During the most acute phase of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, in parallel with the progress of the Global Sumud Flotilla, in several cities of Italy many public demonstrations took place, united by the slogan “let's block everything”, some of which have also determined road and rail traffic blocks.

Also in the city of Trento, in the late afternoon of 2 last October, at the end of a procession that was announced and held regularly, a group of protesters had improvised another procession which, starting from Department of Sociology, had reached the Trento railway station.

Here, facilitated by construction sites present around the infrastructure project, several protesters had gained access and occupied the tracks, causando delays of more than an hour , cancellation of some trains.

La State Police, after having analysed the images from the video surveillance systems present along the route of the unannounced procession and the railway station, was able to identify 38 protesters the authors of the railway blockade, reporting the position to the Judicial Authority for case assessments.

The same will also be evaluated by the Police Chief of Trento for the possible adoption of prevention measures.
