Trentino-Alto Adige, 60 scholarships for a year abroad: opportunities for young talents.

The Autonomous Region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol renews its commitment to the training and European integration, making available 60 scholarships to attend a whole school year abroad in one Member State of the European Union or in UKThe initiative aims to promote the learning of foreign languages,cultural integration and the consolidation of theEuropean identity in young high school students.
The scholarships are reserved for students enrolled in a high school in the 2024/2025 school year and who, at the end of the 2023/2024 school year, have been admitted to the next class without educational debts.
Candidates must:
be citizens of the European Union;
attend the third class of the traditional five-year school path or the second class of the four-year course;
reside for at least one year in one of the municipalities of the Region or in the neighbouring ones indicated in the announcement: Colle Santa Lucia, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Livinallongo del Col di Lana, Magasa, Valvestino and Pedemonte;
have an indicator Family ISEE not exceeding 65.000 euros;
not having reported more than one negative rating in the intermediate grades of 2024/2025 and no failures in the final evaluation document.
News 2025: among the 60 scholarships, 4 are reserved for students with certification of Specific Learning Disorders (DSA), in accordance with law no. 170/2010. The Region also provides dedicated tutoring services and meeting moments to support these kids during their experience abroad.
“We want to give young people the opportunity to grow in an international context, but also eliminate the barriers that can hinder those who face difficulties – explained the regional councilor for European integration Angelo Gennaccaro – the scholarships dedicated to students with DSA represent a concrete step towards a more equitable and inclusive school”.
The total amount allocated by the Region is 840.000 € for the two-year period 2025-2026. The scholarships will not be cumulative with other public or private contributions and will be awarded directly into your current account registered to the beneficiary students.
Applications to participate in the tender must be submitted by June 30 2025. The complete announcement and the forms will be available in the next few weeks on official website of the Region.
