San Pietro Vernotico: State Police arrest two young drug couriers, four and a half kilos of narcotics seized

Further investigations allowed the discovery of drugs on both boys and, stored in the trunk of the vehicle, numerous blocks of hashish and some packages containing marijuana as well as 1400 Euros likely proceeds from drug dealing activities.

Therefore the two twenty-year-olds arrested for the crime of detention for the purposes of trafficking they were associated with the Brindisi District Prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.

The Flying Squad is currently conducting further investigations to trace the suppliers and recipients of the seized narcotic substance.
