Francavilla Fontana (BR), father stabs son to death after violent argument.

The Carabinieri of Francavilla Fontana have arrestedin flagrant crime, 71enne accused of having killed the 44 year old son at the height of a violent argument.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 12 outside the family's home. A fight for trivial reasons it degenerated into a physical fight. The father, then, has held a knife hitting the son in the abdomen, causing him to suffer severe bleeding.

The Carabinieri, who arrived promptly on the scene, alerted the rescuers of 118, who transported the injured person to the “Camberlingo” Hospital and subsequently to the“Perrino” Hospital of Brindisi, where theman died in the late afternoon of March 13 due to the serious injuries he suffered.

Il 71 year old was arrested and, by order of the Public Prosecutor on duty, transferred to the Brindisi Prison, pending the decisions of the Judicial Authority.
