Fasano: extraordinary control service by the Carabinieri, two arrests and two reports

As part of the services arranged by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Brindisi, aimed at raising the level of crime prevention and ensuring a safety framework, the Carabinieri of the Fasano Company carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control. In this context the military have:

• Two young people arrested in flagrante delicto for the illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing as, during a check, they were found in possession of two blocks of hashish hidden in the car they were occupying; furthermore, at their respective homes, the military found other drugs of the same type, as well as marijuana, opiate and hallucinogenic substances, as well as significant sums of cash. Everything was seized and, following the formal procedures, the two individuals, by order of the Judicial Authority, were subjected to house arrest;
• two young people were administratively reported to the Prefecture for possession of narcotics for personal use, because they were found in possession of a narcotic substance of the hashish type.

On this occasion, 29 people were identified, 17 vehicles and 2 public establishments were checked, 3 searches were carried out and various administrative sanctions were contested for violations of the Highway Code.

This service is part of the activities to combat widespread crime that the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Brindisi is carrying out throughout the province.
