Carovigno (BR). The Carabinieri meet the students, addressing delicate issues such as bullying and the spread of drugs among young people.

In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di San Vito dei Normanni, as part of the training seminars for the diffusion of the culture of legality, have met a group of students from the Carovigno Comprehensive Institute. The meeting held by Captain Vito Sacchi, Commander of the Carabinieri Company of San Vito dei Normanni and by Major Marshal Giuseppe Berardino, Commander of the Station, was attended by 70 students from the 3rd "Cavallo" middle school classes and the teaching staff.

Constructive debate, in which some were addressed sensitive issues such as the spread of drugs among young people, the health risks resulting from consumption and the related administrative and criminal consequences, bullying and gender violence. Particularly active was the participation of the students who asked numerous questions, recounted personal experiences and expressed some doubts to the Soldiers.

Captain Sacchi has always set up these meetings, actively involving the students with whom he establishes a constructive discussion, arousing their curiosity and addressing these delicate topics with a direct approach in which, in addition to regulatory references, practical cases, personal experiences and considerations. The meeting is part of a wider calendar of events which see the Carabinieri working closely with young and very young students with the aim of increasing civic sense and trust in the Institution.
