Martinsicuro: the Carabinieri arrest a man convicted of robbery.

The Carabinieri of the Martinsicuro (TE) station have arrested, on the orders of the Teramo Police Authority, a twenty-three year old local man as he must serve a residual sentence of 4 years and 8 months of imprisonment after being convicted of robbery.

The man, already under house arrest, was arrested in November 2022, again by the Carabinieri of Martinsicuro, as multiple indications of guilt had been gathered on his account regarding a robbery perpetrated on 11.11.2022 against the local tobacconist “Consorts”. On that occasion, upon opening the business, the owner had been threatened with a knife by a man with his face distorted by a balaclava who had asked for 1.000 euros in cash held in the cash register to be handed over to him, then walked away on foot, losing track of himself. .

The painstaking work of the Carabinieri developed with the vision of public and private cameras made it possible to trace the offender, providing the judiciary with the elements to convict him.
After completing the formal procedures, the arrested man was taken to Teramo prison.
