Alba Adriatica: night checks of the coastal municipalities, 20 subjects subjected to measures restricting personal freedom checked, 7 public businesses inspected.

Last night the Carabinieri of the Alba Adriatica Company, in addition to the ordinary services, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the municipalities of Martinsicuro, Tortoreto and Alba Adriatica, aimed at the prevention and repression of crimes in general and in order to contribute to guaranteeing a high level of safety both for the residents of these municipalities and for those who choose to spend their holidays there.

The service, which involved some of the Company's Stations, the Mobile Radio Unit and military personnel in civilian clothes, was carried out by patrolling the main roads in the coastal area; inspecting public establishments; verifying compliance with the provisions imposed by the Judicial Authority on those under house arrest and on subjects subjected to security and/or prevention measures; monitoring road traffic and compliance with the rules of the highway code, especially with regard to the use of alcohol and drugs by those who drive vehicles.

During the service the following were checked: 83 vehicles, over 150 people identified, 20 subjects subjected to measures restricting personal freedom inspected, 7 public businesses inspected.

During the service, which was purely preventive in nature, there was no lack of repressive results, in fact the Carabinieri of the Martinsicuro Station arrested, on a warrant from the Court of Teramo, a man resident in the town for mistreatment of his family.

The Carabinieri who had received the wife's complaint carried out the necessary investigations, informing the Teramo Prosecutor's Office which had activated the "red code" and sharing the findings developed by the military, requested a custodial precautionary measure from the Judge, which was issued and therefore the man was locked up in Teramo prison.

Furthermore, the same station arrested a man on a warrant from the Ancona Police Authority as he must serve the remaining sentence of 6 months of imprisonment for the crime of theft.

The Carabinieri of Alba Adriatica have arrested a local man on the warrant of the Judicial Authority of Teramo as he was sentenced to serve a prison sentence house arrest with a prison sentence of 6 months for the crime of fraud.

During the checks on road traffic, 3 subjects, driving their cars, tested positive for alcohol consumption, in one case the driver had a blood alcohol level higher than 2 when the legal limit cannot exceed 0,5. During the same activity, two vehicles were administratively seized, two driving licenses were withdrawn and traffic fines were issued for a total economic value of over 3.000 euros.

During checks on public businesses in the municipality of Alba Adriatica, three individuals were identified who were subject to a mandatory expulsion order for the municipality of Alba Adriatica. The same people who were ordered to leave the coastal center were reported to the Judicial Authority.
