Important results for the Police in the field of services of the “Saturday Night Massacres”, which involved the Taranto Highway Police, Police Headquarters andHealth OfficeThe checks focused on the main arteries of the province, with the purpose of counter the driving under the influence of alcohol e under the influence of drugs.

During the operation, they were identified 83 people e 49 vehicles checked. Two drivers were reported for driving with blood alcohol levels above the legal limit e 3 because positive tests for drug use.

The sanctions were significant: 5 licenses withdrawn, 12 fines for a total of 1.229 €, car seizure , 55 points deducted from driving licences.

The checks, carried out in different time slots and in several locations in the province, have allowed us to identify situations of serious danger for road safety, with some drivers in evident state of psycho-physical alteration.
