Taranto: threatens his partner with a fork, arrested by the State Police for stalking.

The State Police arrested a 46-year-old Grottaglie man allegedly responsible for the crime of stalking.
The staff of the Grottaglie police station intervened near a local bar where the attack on a woman was reported.

The police met the alleged victim who, in a strong state of agitation, was surrounded by some passers-by who were giving her first aid to bring her back to calm.
From the woman's statements, the officers learned that her partner, during a dinner in a restaurant in the city centre, in the throes of a violent attack of jealousy, threatened her with death, holding a large fork.

The terrified woman managed to escape from the restaurant and take refuge in her brother's bar in her car until the police arrived.
Accompanied to the police station offices to formalize the complaint against her partner, a 46-year-old from Grottaglie, the woman allegedly told the police that this latest violent episode was only the latest in a long series of persecutory attitudes committed by her partner in the last few years.

At the end of the detailed complaint filed by the victim and after having transmitted the documents to the competent judicial authority, the 46-year-old was arrested and placed under house arrest.
