Taranto: during a check a gun falls from his belt, 20-year-old arrested.

La State Police arrested a 20 year old from Taranto, with a criminal record, presumed responsible for the crimes of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, resisting a public official, illegal possession of clandestine weapons and ammunition.

During the fight, from 20 year old's belt one fell gun with “cocked hammer”apparently ready to shoot, modified and provided with magazine with one cartridge.

In addition to the weapon, the officers found on the young man a cellophane wrapping containing about half a gram of cocaine e 30 euros in cash.

After an evaluation by specialized personnel, it was found that the gun was in fact a modified toy gun, making it potentially offensive.

All the material was placed under seizure and, having transmitted the documents toCompetent Judicial Authority, the 20-year-old was arrested and taken to the prison of the Ionian capital.
