Taranto, attempted robbery, injuries and drug dealing: three definitive prison measures issued

The Flying Squad issued three definitive measures in prison to two young people aged 20 and 23, held responsible for the crimes of attempted robbery and injury and to a 40-year-old for drug dealing.

Flying Squad personnel arrested two young people aged 20 and 23 respectively in execution of the prison order issued by the Court of Taranto, having to serve a 4-year prison sentence because held responsible for the crimes of attempted robbery and injuries.

The evening of January 23rd of last year the two young people together with two other boys who were minors at the time they were arrested by the Flying Squad personnel.

According to what has been reconstructed, the four would have attacked without a justified reason first a Filipino citizen who was returning home from work, also stealing his backpack e after a few minutes also two minor boys that on board a bus they were returning home after an evening spent at a friends house.

Furthermore, after a few minutes the same men attacked and beat up three other men of Sinhalese origin. The two recipients, at the moment under house arrest, they were accompanied to the prison.

Another restrictive measure was also carried out against a 40-year-old criminal from Taranto involved several times in anti-drug operations of the Flying Squad Falcons.

The latest in chronological order was last January when the 40-year-old was arrested after being caught in front of a private club in the city center while dealing hashish.

The latter was accompanied to the local prison still having to serve the remaining sentence of one year and seven months.
