Manduria (Taranto), under house arrest, publishes more than 300 videos on social media in 5 months. 41-year-old arrested by the State Police

The State Police arrested a 41-year-old man residing in the municipality of Manduria because he was presumed responsible for the crime of failure to comply with the provisions imposed by his prison regime.

The staff of the Manduria Police Station, during specific web monitoring services and in particular of the most common social networks used with increasing frequency also as a means of communication by people subject to restrictive measures, monitored a 41-year-old resident of Manduria and subjected to the house arrest regime, who used a popular social media platform with multiple "profiles" to frequently publish both photos and videos of his daily life and to organize online gambling games in which he played the active role of the so-called "dealer".

The man, as confirmed by investigators at the time of his release from the prison to be placed under house arrest, he also allegedly “posted” numerous videos to celebrate his release from prison.
With his intense social activity, interacting daily with his "followers" - more than 300 videos published in 146 days of house arrest - he would have violated with impunity the provisions imposed by his detention regime which prohibits the use of the telephone or any other electronic means to communicate with people other than those belonging to his immediate family.

The 41-year-old was tracked down at his home and taken to the county prison.
This latest moment in his life was immortalized in a video posted by his wife on one of her social profiles.
