Rosolini: they set cars on fire and damage homes. 25-year-old and 33-year-old arrested.

The Carabinieri of the Rosolini station (Siracusa) arrested two men aged 25 and 33, seriously suspected of conspiracy to commit arson and damage followed by burning of motor vehicles.

The facts date back to the period between December 2023 and January 2024 when, between Rosolini and Ispica (Ragusa), several cars were set on fire and, in some cases, the flames also damaged nearby homes, putting the safety of residents in serious danger.

At the conclusion of a detailed investigative activity, also carried out through the analysis of video surveillance systems, the Carabinieri of Rosolini have gathered serious indications of guilt against the 2 men which, once examined by the Ragusa judicial authorities, led the Court to issue a precautionary measure against the 2 suspects who were arrested, with the support of the military of the Modica Company, and placed under house arrest in their respective homes with an electronic bracelet.
