Trieste: ”Pressure Poleographic Contest & Battle” scheduled for September 21st and 22nd at Palachiarbola with more than 400 international athletes.

This morning (Monday 16 September) the second edition of ''Pressure Poleographic Contest & Battle”, a competitive acrobatic dance event scheduled at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Chiarbola “G. Calza” (via Visinada 5) on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.

They intervened Councillor for Real Estate and Sports Policies Elisa Lodi; for the organization of the event Valentina Limpido, Noemi Gaggi and Caterina Cigui.

Councillor Elisa Lodi declared: “Ours is a city with a sporting vocation that offers a lot, both in terms of sporting events spread throughout the year, and in terms of the offer specifically aimed at the little ones and the young people through sport as an educational and value-building factor. On behalf of the Municipal Administration, I thank the organization for bringing to Trieste an event with national and international recognition, which returns a great attraction for the territory”.

THE NUMBERS
The event will bring to the city approximately 400 athletes from all over Europe, America, Japan and the Middle East, as well as judges and experts from around the world.

There are two formats planned: the choreographic contest on a stage, with seven poles, and the one-on-one freestyle Battle, enriched by live DJs. The competitions are open to the public, with tickets available directly on site and the participation of champions and top athletes of the discipline, ready to perform in front of a qualified jury. Scholarships, prizes offered by sponsors and special awards are up for grabs.

THE PROGRAM
The contest will officially start on September 21st at 14 pm. There will be two categories: 'beginner' and 'open'. The various performances will then follow one another (solo, duo, small groups and large groups), with the day expected to end around 22 pm.

The next day masterclasses curated by international judges will be held from 9 to 14.45. The last phase of the contest will take place from 15.30, which will award the winners, after the 'Grand Finale'. Then the 5 out of 7 poles removed, the DJ will arrive and the 'Battle freestyle 1 vs 1' will begin, which will end at 19.30 pm with the awards and more music.

The atrium of the Palachiarbola will also host some commercial activities, mostly related to local crafts, and a refreshment point.
