Monza Sport Experience: September 21st and 22nd will be two days of sport with “10K free to run”, music, awards, tournaments, performances and much more.

Sport City Day: Sport City Day – Sports Festival is scheduled in Piazza Trento e Trieste on Saturday from 10,00:23,00 to 10,00:18,00 and Sunday from 50:70 to XNUMX:XNUMX: XNUMX sports associations will present themselves to the public promoting XNUMX sports disciplines.

181 athletes will be awarded on Saturday at 14.00 pm for their sporting results achieved in 2023, while on Sunday 22nd September at 11,00 am, in the presence of the Mayor, the Institutional greeting at the Sport City Day 2024 event, which the city of Monza has joined together with 145 Italian municipalities.

10k free to run
The 21th edition of the 14 K liberi di corre is scheduled for Saturday 10st: on the program 5km and 10km non-competitive routes for amateurs at free paceThe competitive 10km, on the other hand, is included in the Fidal calendar as a road race reserved for Italian and foreign athletes registered with clubs affiliated with FIDAL, World Athletics or with Sports Promotion Bodies affiliated with FIDAL.

All routes will start and finish in Piazza Carducci. The 5km start is set for 20pm. The competitive 10km will start at 21pm, followed by the non-competitive 10km. Info and registration on www.10kappa.it

Before departure
Saturday from 19,30pm to 19,45pm is scheduled in Piazza Carducci the skating exhibition curated by the Sportculture Association, while from 20,30pm to 20,45pm it will be the turn of the Cheerleaders. Sarabanda Cederna music band will play both before the 5K and before the 10K. In case of rain, it will perform under the porticoes of the Town Hall.

Will four musical bands that will liven up the city squares starting from 19.00pm on Saturday, thanks to the collaboration with Confcommercio Monza:

– St. Peter and Martyr Square – Groovemaster Academy

– Mantegazza Street – Groovemaster Academy

– Another musical point will be at the corner between Via Colombo and Via Passerella dei Mercati

Inclusion and sport
The Facciavista Association will animate with its appreciated inclusive djset the moments of departure: the boys and DJs await music lovers in Piazza Trento e Trieste from 18,30pm to 20,15pm.

Aeronautics in the square
In Piazza Roma there will be an exhibition space promoted by the Air Force.

Parking and traffic block
For the foot race on September 21st, which will take place in the historic center, a traffic block is planned starting at 19,00:24,00 p.m. It will be possible to park both at Porta Monza until midnight with the normal rate of €3,00, and in the Piazza Castello parking lot with an hourly rate of €0,50 /hour.
