Monza and Brianza: two teams of the State Police participated in the “Ride Beat” cycling race for charity

The Read Beat solidarity initiative had a charitable purpose, the entire proceeds were donated to the Primo Aiuto Association and will be used to support the donation of wigs to women affected by alopecia due to cancer as part of the project "A Gift to Shine".

Monza and Brianza: two teams of the State Police participated in the “Ride Beat” cycling race for charity.

On Sunday 29th September the staff of the State Police participated with two of its own teams in the charity cycling competition, “Ride Beat”, organized by the Cancro Primo Aiuto onlus Association, at the Monza racetrack.

The event was attended by numerous teams from healthcare and hospital facilities and in addition to the State Police, also the other law enforcement agencies.

The members of the State Police competed with relay mode on the track of the Monza racetrack; the invited teams were composed of the First Director Mirella PONTIGGIA - Director of the Verona Highway Police Section, the Chief Commissioner Ismaele GATTI - Bergamo Police Headquarters, the Inspector Massimiliano PASCALI - Bergamo Police Headquarters Milano, Deputy Inspector Francesco GAMBA – Brescia Police Headquarters, Chief Assistant C. Alessandro FERRARA – Seriate Traffic Police Subsection and by the Chief Assistant Marco GULLOTTA – Bergamo Postal Police Section.

The solidarity initiative Read Beat had a charitable purpose, the entire proceeds were donated to the First Aid Association and will serve to support the wig donation to women affected by alopecia for cancer as part of the project “A Gift to Shine”.

Considering the worthy purpose of the event, the members of the State Police participated in the competition reserved for the amateur category supporting the slogan “SPORT AND SOLIDARITY A WINNING COMBINATION” which has always accompanied the Association Cancro Primo Aiuto Onlus.
