On Thursday the municipal council approved the project for the construction of a new neighborhood park within the residential complexes behind viale Grassi between via Gino Rizzo and via San Cesario: green spaces, places to rest, a skate park, equipped with bowls, minis, stairs, ramps of different slopes and rails, which can be used with skateboards, roller skates and even BMX, as well as a jogging path, a basketball/volleyball area and tree-lined parking lots. And also: a system of paths in light-coloured solid earth, with universal accessibility, which define the distribution in the park of the different parts dedicated to sport and well-being and greenery, with the creation of hills and slight differences in level of the ground to offer a differentiated multiplicity of areas and enhance the urban landscape.

The project, designed by the engineer Daniele Serio with the agronomic consultancy of Rodolfo Rossi, will be carried out on an area of ​​15.150 mXNUMX, creating equipped public open spaces between via Gino Rizzo and the residential buildings, for a total cost of realization amounting to 706.685,52 euros. It will be carried out taking into account the urbanization works foreseen within the project proposal for a multifunctional building of Climart SRL, which will be built in via Gino Rizzo at the corner of via Daniele Paladini, on an area of ​​private property and adjacent to the park area of municipal property in section 35.

In the green areas, a mix of deciduous and permanent leaf plants will be planted which aims to achieve a synthesis between development and growth among small, medium and tall trees, need for maintenance, beauty of flowering and resistance to harmful biotic agents and abiotic. Between tall trees among others, Robinia, Lime, Jacaranda, Phytolacca are expected. Among street lamps of different heights that will illuminate the entire park equipped with benches with seats and backs and waste bins.

This is a proposal that looks to the future of public spaces with the aim of always increasing more spaces with multiple and intergenerational vocations spread across all neighborhoods».
