Tonight, the Italian national team will face Germany at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals. Coach Spalletti's Azzurri will have to overturn the 2-1 defeat suffered by the Germans at San Siro.

Towards Germany-Italy

Tonight Italy is called to win and to reach the Final Four they must do so by at least two goals. In Thursday's match the Azzurri were convincing in terms of play, but two defensive lapses led to the defeat. Spalletti's men will have to be careful of the Germans' physicality, especially Kleindeinst and Goretzka, who scored the two goals in the first leg. As for Calafiori, the Arsenal defender, he suffered a sprain to his knee and has left the training camp. Retegui and Cambiaso are also returning home, both injured, and will not be playing tonight. Spalletti is thinking of Daniel Maldini as the starter behind the lone striker Moise Kean. In place of Calafiori, Buongiorno is ready to complete the defensive department with Bastoni and Di Lorenzo.
