Verona-Cremonese 0-0
Il Verona Zanetti started strong and built from the first minutes. The best chances fell to Giovane, who after a quarter of an hour saw his shot blocked by the timely exit of the opposing goalkeeper, before going close to the target with a curling right-footer and trying again from outside, always saved by the number one of the team. CremoneseUp front, Sanabria and Bonazzoli struggled to receive playable balls, with the Lombardy team stuck in their own half for much of the first half. The hosts created two more clear chances: Orban in the 33rd minute and Bradaric in the 41st minute were denied by a brilliant Audero.
After the break, Verona slowed the pace slightly, and Cremonese tried to make themselves more visible, finding some space on the counterattack.
