Milan, the FIGC Prosecutor's Office closes the investigation into the move from Elliott to RedBird.

La Prosecutor's Office Figc filed “in the state of the documents” the file opened on the passage of Milan da Elliott a RedBird.

No consequences on a sporting level, therefore, for the Rossoneri club. 

Among others, the current CEO had been included in the register of suspects Giorgio Furlani and the former CEO Ivan Gazidis, for allegedly hindering the supervisory functions of the Football Federation.

The focus of the investigation was related to the sale of the majority stake in AC Milan from the Elliott fund to RedBird for 1,2 billion euros: the suspicion was of a "fictitious" financial operation, through which Elliott would have maintained operational control of the club through the vendor loan of around 600 million euros granted to the owner of RedBird Gerry Cardinal (which will expire by 31 December 2025) and the inclusion of several men linked to Elliott on the Rossoneri board of directors.

However, the investigation by the Prosecutor's Office continues Milano that he can have civil and criminal developments.
