Inter, from San Siro to the Duomo: here is the great championship celebration.
The big one has started Inter's Scudetto celebration. The two open buses (the first with the team and the second with the staff) left San Siro, being welcomed outside the Meazza garage by thousands of fans Nerazzurri which opened allowing the Inter caravan to pass between two wings of the crowd.
They were the first to get on the bus arnautovic, Calhanoglu e Pavard, followed little by little by the rest of the team including the coach Simone Inzaghi. Music blared straight away from the bus speakers, while flags with two stars also appeared on the sides and the writings on the two buses can be read “Italian champions” e “The second star is ours, thank you Inter fans!”. And there were also the first chants from the megaphone, with the footballers (Marco's e Stretcher among the first) to sing “the league leaders are leaving” e “we are the Italian champions” between a few beers and group selfies.
In May 2021, Covid did not allow Inter to embrace their fans after winning the Scudetto. The party was not lacking, both at San Siro and in the streets of the city, but without the traditional parade with the open-top bus. Today, however, everything is ready for the great Nerazzurri parade that after the match against Torino fills the streets of Milano to celebrate the triumph in the championship, after the improvised party of fans and players last Monday following the success in the derby which gave the mathematical certainty of the victory of the 20th tricolor.
A route of approximately 8 km that will pass through the area of San Siro up to Corso Sempione, with a stop in front of the headquarters in viale della Liberazione, before passing under the Scala and finally arriving In Piazza Duomo around 20pm. A long procession which will then end with the arrival of the team on the Terrace 21, from which the players will greet the fans and start the party.
The deployment of law enforcement was extensive, with the prefect of Milano Claudio Sgaraglia has issued a ban, in the party areas, on the administration and sale of alcoholic beverages and spirits, take-away sales in glass containers and cans both in fixed and mobile form, without prohibiting their ordinary consumption with table service.
But this won't be the last Nerazzurri party. In fact, on May 19th, after the match against Lazio, there will be the presentation of the cup to the team on the pitch, followed by a concert in which they could be protagonists among others Ligabue, Bocelli e Max Pezzali.
