Serie A: Atalanta loses its opening match and Como stuns Napoli. Spalletti's Juve gets off to a good start.

This afternoon, Udinese defeated Atalanta 1-0 thanks to the usual Zaniolo. Juric's team suffered their first league defeat, which also meant they overtook the Friulians. Como, however, remained undeterred, securing their eighth consecutive unbeaten result, holding Napoli to a 0-0 draw. Spalletti also had a positive debut as Juventus coach, winning 2-1 in Cremona and temporarily moving within four points of the top spot.

Udinese-Atalanta 1-0

The Friulians started with great intensity, driven primarily by the right flank of Zanoli and Zaniolo. The former Roma player created the first big chance, forcing Carnesecchi into his first save of the match. Atta also had a go shortly after, but his shot grazed the post. The match remained evenly balanced until the 40th minute, when the Bianconeri took the lead: Kamara broke through on the left and sent in a precise cross for Zaniolo, who, completely free in the area, pierces Carnesecchi for the 1-0.

In the second half, the pace remained high, but the scoring opportunities diminished. Atalanta attempted to respond with a free kick from Scamacca, which, after being deflected by the wall, almost fooled Okoye. The Nerazzurri were unable to create any real threat, and the score remained unchanged. Ends 1-0.

Napoli-Como 0-0

In the first half, Como squandered a potential lead. In the 26th minute, Morata started from the edge of offside and was brought down in the penalty area by Milinkovic-Savic. The referee awarded a penalty, and the duel between the two continued, but the Spanish striker misfired and the Serbian goalkeeper saved the spot kick, confirming his expertise after saving Camarda's penalty in Lecce vs. Napoli.

In the second half, the Neapolitans raised their game and pushed for a goal, but found themselves faced with a superb Butez. The Como goalkeeper parried McTominay's close-range header and also thwarted Politano's long-range attempts, keeping a clean sheet until the final whistle. The match ends. 0-0.

Cremonese-Juventus 1-2

Spalletti's first Juventus started very strong and took the lead after ninety seconds. After a rebound in the area, the ball landed at the feet of Costic who beat Audero to make it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Vlahovic ran through, but his shot wasn't angled enough and Audero parried it. Five minutes later, the Cremonese goalkeeper made a superb save, deflecting Locatelli's shot from the edge of the area onto the post. In the 34th minute, Openda tried from a tight angle but found only the side-netting.

In the second half, Cremonese raised their game, but it was the Bianconeri who were the ones who threatened. In the 59th minute, Openda fired over from distance. In the 66th minute, McKennie passed to Vlahovic, who attempted to dive in, but it didn't hit the target. A minute later, Conceicao crossed low into the center and after a rebound, the ball reached Cambiaso who scores for 0-2. The hosts reduce the gap in the 82nd minute with vardy who resists the physical duel against Gatti and beats Di Gregorio for the 1-2. Cremonese no longer creates any chances and Juve manages the lead. The match ends. 1-2.
